Secretary of State Shenna Bellows Calls for Invocation of the 25th Amendment

Maine Secretary of State Shenna Bellows is calling on the cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment in light of recent, unhinged comments by the President. 

"Trump’s public threat to wipe an entire civilization off the map through violence and bloodshed demonstrates what many have long known to be true: he is unfit for the highest office in the land and must be removed. The cabinet has sworn allegiance to protect the constitution, not to protect a mad man. The 25th amendment clearly dictates steps for leaders to put allegiance to the country over allegiance to Trump and they must act.”
