Secretary of State Shenna Bellows Condemns Trump's Comments about Nationalizing Elections

AUGUSTA, Maine — Secretary of State Shenna Bellows issues the following statement in regards to President Trump's calls for the Republican Party to "Nationalize" Elections:

"Tomorrow morning I will be mailing the White House a new pocket constitution because it's seems they must have lost their copy. The constitution could not be more clear-- elections are to be administered by the states. Elections will be administered in Maine by Mainers for Mainers in 2026, in 2028 and into the future."
